More than seven years ago Ketryn Breon came to Hogwarts as a fiery red head with a shy demeanor and a hidden inner temper. Discovering after a few years that she had an affinity with fire and the wand to make that even more powerful, she found a love of Transfiguration early on in her studies.
Joining the Quidditch team her third year as a beater, she also discovered a way to release her temper in a safe environment. Unfortunately, in her fifth year she found that alcohol was a negative influence and half a bottle of whiskey later she set fire to a wing of the Library in a confusing turn of events that will never be truly clear. Suspended indefinitely, Ketryn left school and was caught up in the turmoil of the outside world.
Her parents were killed by an obscure Death Eater out for status and notches on his belt. Left with an inheritance too big for her practical mind, Ketryn used it to bribe her way back into Hogwarts under the name of a nonexistent guardian. Now back and notorious in certain circles for the library fiasco, all Ket wants to do is return to her studies, something that the other students of Hogwarts have taken a liking to making all the more difficult.
A shy and studious Ravenclaw at heart, Ket has had to change her outer appearance to fit in with those who would socialize with her. Her only goals are to learn all she can while she is allowed to remain in the school and perhaps one day stay on as a teacher -- the outside world holds no allure for her. |
